I went with the half and half. Being vegetarian, I'm always happy to have good fresh veg food. I got the Far East salad with Thai peanut dressing and the Portabello panini...and unsweet citrus green tea. Can I say "Wow!" This was much better than i expected! The portions are huge. You can either make your own salad on paper and they create it, or pick off the menu. Lots of salads, sandwiches, soups and beverages (bottled, brewed and fountain) to chose from. The prices are a little high, but for the portion you get, it's acceptable. The dining area is very clean, but very loud. Light music playing, but the talking bounces all over the room...and there were only about 15 people in here at lunch. I would not want to be here during a rush. A dropped ceiling would help that. Everything was fresh and fantastic. I'll return when I'm in the area again.

Wow, my wife and I were in the mood for salads so we thought we would try Fast N Fresh. I am glad we did. I built my own salad and had the Asian Shrimp wrap. My wife had the Greek salad. All was fresh and delicious! We will be back, wasn't busy for dinner, but it should be. Prices were reasonable and the food was really, really good!

Visited 7:30pm on 8/14. Was the only person in line, ordered a salad. They had just finished making someone's food that was sitting down when a couple got in line and ordered. They gave the couple their food before me when I had been there significantly longer. Awful customer service

You get to select your own mix of ingredients for salads or sandwiches. Ingredients are always fresh. Custom ordering process is a little slow but the staff is friendly. I would highly recommend.

Fast n Fresh is a make-your-own-salad/sandwich concept in a strip mall. They also listed a number of pre-prepared suggestions. The restaurant was spotless and the staff was eager to please. We took our salads home and ate one later in the evening. To our delight, every single piece of everything was fresh. Our salad was so huge that one salad feed two people. The lemon-honey dressing was a perfect compliment to our mix.

We only ended up here for dinner because there was a wait at Bone Fish. I was skeptical because the place was like a ghost town, no one was in there except two workers. We had never been there before and we told the two guys behind the counter and they still weren't a huge help. I mean the cashier couldn't even tell me what kind of potato chips they had (yet it seemed like he was training the other guy). They were nice guys but not the best customer service. I order the smoked turkey panini and my husband ordered the BLT. My panini was mediocre and my husband said his BLT was good. Best thing I had was the chocolate chip cookie (I actually had my husband buy more before we left). On another note, the floor was sticky & my baby dropped his water on the floor so my husband told the workers yet no one found it urgent to mop up the water. That was annoying, someone could have slipped and seriously been hurt. We probably won't be back. Service nor food is worth the trip. We should have just stood in line at Bone Fish. Oh well! Maybe a different location....

I am addicted to the Spicy Thai Peanut Dressing!!! Besides that... Everything is clean and fast and fresh!

Not fast nor fresh. Out of spinach? How is a salad restaurant out of spinach? Untrained employees trying to run the business alone is a fail.

One of my favorite places! Great salads and gluten free dressing options. My favorite is the We Got The Beat salad. They can even make a salad into a wrap. : )

This was my second time trying this restaurant and it disappointed again. The first time was at their Lakewood Ranch location and I had their salad special with shrimp. The shrimp was limp and tasteless but I thought, "I like the idea, let's try again". Wish I hadn't. This time I had their BLT with avocado and it was bad. I understand the need to pre-cook you bacon but at least heat it up before you make the sandwich. Cold, hard bacon is not appetizing.

The food deserves a higher rating, but attitude of service staff brings it down to 2 stars, thus the average of 3 stars. HOWEVER, when I noted my reactions and comments on another website, the owner emailed me wanting to make it right...so kudos to him. I will return in a few months to give it another try.

Love their far east salad and turkey avocado wrap. Staff is always friendly. And, they know my husband's name... he goes here more than I do!

I don't get what y'all are complaining about (wow, did I really just type y'all? I've been in the South too long... but I digress...). Fast n Fresh has huge variety thanks to the "build your own" options, the portions are huge, the staff is beyond nice, and I've never had anything from here that I wouldn't consider "fresh". How long do you think the food you're eating at other restaurants sits there? Unless you're willing to grow your own veggies, I suggest a reality check. I love love love the Tomato Bisque, as well as the Mediterranean Hummus flat bread sandwich. However, my current favorite thing is to build my own salad... it's like a salad bar only better, and with less people touching everything. I agree that all the menus at the front can be a little overwhelming, but after you've gone in a couple of times it becomes second nature and now I can reach right for the order sheet I want. I actually like being able to hold the menu and check off the things I want in my salad, it makes me notice toppings I might not otherwise include in my order. Overall I think this is a great place with great, tasty food. It may not have super fancy decor, but really, when was the last time you went into a sandwich place for the decor? I also love that it's locally owned and one of a kind... not a massive chain like so many other restaurants in this town.

I usually visit fast n fresh in LWR, but today I stopped in for a bite to eat at Cooper Creek because I was in the area. Well Dorothy, I wasn't in Kanas (LWR) anymore. First it was so hot - I was told the a/c was not working. Second, there were only 2 girls that I saw that were helping customers. They were both moving as fast as they could, but they were ferociously outnumbered by customers. Then I saw one of the girls approach a gentleman sitting at a table with someone talking... And I overheard her say "we need you". It wasn't until then did I realize he worked there. I assume he was the manager cause he was wearing different color pants (khaki). There wasn't much managing going on so I left and went to Wendy's. I usually love this place, but I would suggest going to LWR location for the best experience.

Stay far, far away from the grilled cheese. The bread is huge and yet they put only 2 small slices of cheese on each sandwich and some nasty herbed spread. The salads looked okay, nothing special though, take it from a California girl, we know salad!

Fast n' Fresh is a really great place for a healthy lunch or quick dinner. Think of it a local take on a Panera or Crispers. The menu consists of salads, wraps, sandwiches, paninis, and soups. They also offer you the ability to custom build your own sandwich or salad from a huge list of ingredients. I have really enjoyed their Asian Shrimp Wrap on several occasions, and have been quite pleased with their soup of the day choices as well. The staff have always been super friendly, and seem genuinely happy to be there. They are also super willing to accommodate substitutions and changes, keeping with the whole customization to your heart's content theme. There are a few outdoor tables setup, and plenty of seating inside. Also, the cleanliness of the food prep area stood out to me, which is a good thing. I would highly recommend it as a great Lakewood Ranch area lunch option.

Fast n Fresh is tucked away in a strip mall right off of University Parkway in Sarasota/Bradenton Florida. They offer build your own salads, or a list of specialty salads you can order from along with soups, sandwiches and wraps. The food is good, and the salad portions are very generous. The Chipotle wrap I had wasn't very good, but the salad I created more than made up for it. They offer a nice indoor seating area as well as a few tables in front of the building that offer some great people watching opportunities. If you're looking for a healthy alternative to the shopping centers food options this is the place.

The food is really good.., but the service stinks. I was ignored for the first several minutes by the staff and needed to figure out where the menus were hanging on the wall (since it's not visibly posted). It took much longer to receive service than most places. The staff was kind, but disinterested in customer service. If you have time to kill, are serious about quality food and don't mind being ignored this place is for you. If you expect an all around good experience I would go elsewhere.

I stopped here on the way home from Tampa one night. I was starved and looking for something reasonable to eat. I wanted it quick but didn't want a burger. I stumbled on Fast n Fresh and it was a nice surprise. I had the special that night which had shrimp, avocado, tomatoes, etc. It was a great salad with bread on the side which was also fresh. It really hit the spot. You can build your own salad with pretty much anything you want. The salads are absolutely fresh. They cut the avocado right in front of me. I'm not sure how much fresher you could get. Support your local merchants and take a shot and try it.

They dropped me a note to let me know they are not new. Must have been new staff that day?

This is my favorite fresh and HEALTHY place to eat. My only complaint is that we have to drive 30 minutes to get there! Booooo. BUT the food is worth it and maybe public begging here will entice them to add a place south of Sarasota ;-) We've tried many of the wraps and they're all wonderful. I think my hubby's favorite is roast beef. I now am hooked on the citrus salmon salad. It's HUGE but like ms piggy I usually finish it off. Hehehe The salmon is chilled perfectly, the greens have always been fresh and a fantastic mix of various red and green. The citrus dressing is just tart enough to cut the rich salmon. Perfect. Someday I'm going to move and and try more on their menu but for now, I highly recommend the citrus salmon salad. As good as it gets in my book! 1/19 I'm sad to say that they no longer have my favorite citrus salmon salad. They do still have the salmon, but changed the dressing and it's just not as good as the citrus. Darn.

Wonderful break from the norm. My wife and I have been coming here since they opened and have turned at least 6 people onto it. Consistency in fresh, tasty food. Pleasant owners and staff make this one of our favorite places to get a fast & fresh bite to eat!

You have to be a fast food junkie to think this is fast and fresh. It is FAST but this is not fresh real food. It's Fast Junk Food. And don't fool yourself thinking it's healthy NOT. The decor is weird and the music too loud, they are definitely going after the young crowd as it is not a relaxing place to sit and eat. The chairs are totally uncomfortable.

Sandwich was boring. Got a panini and it felt undertoasted. The soup was alright and the employees were friendly enough. My boyfriend created his own huge salad. He said it was good, not anything super awesome but good. Overall the experience was dull.

Fast n Fresh is a great place for the picky eater. You can create your own sandwich or salad form a large list of ingredients. The chipotle ranch and wasabi dressings are my favorite, along with the kickin crab and corn chowder soup. Besides from the build your own options, there are many other options on their menu. Plenty of seating inside and out and easy to get to. Very friendly staff and great atmosphere. I have been back many times and have never had a bad meal. Their on-line service is very easy and useful to place orders. I have also used them for catering and they did a great job for my business event.
